• Scenic / Nature; Many of these images are from family vacations. Included are Arizona, New York, Mexico, Hawaii, Solvang (wine country), Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Palm Springs St. Louis and other photo “excursions” in the Los Angeles area. I focused on the beauty and color of the various locations; many of which were photgraphed just after sunrise or before sunset.
• Urban Cityscapes; Capturing the essence of New York, San Francisco (including Alcatraz), night scenes and a couple of vintage photographs taken during the gas crisis of the early 1980′s.
• Animals; Pets and various zoo and aquatic creatures. I have included wild deer native to the Grand Canyon area and a very unusual yellow hairy caterpillar that began crawling up my leg in New York’s Central Park; a Sycamore Tussock Moth Caterpillar
• Statues, Art & Religion; Includes icons such as the San Fernando Mission, St. Vincent de Paul Church (Downtown Los Angeles); the Wat Thai Buddhist Temple (North Hollywood). Also included are the Los Angeles National Cemetary (Veteran’s Memorials) and a make shift Michael Jackson memorial outside his Encino, California home after his death in 2009.
